Understanding the Good Shepherd involves recognizing His protective, providing, and sacrificial nature. It also requires discernment to identify false shepherds who seek to steal, kill, and destroy. Spiritual abuse is a real and damaging epidemic, but healing and restoration are possible through Christ. The Good Shepherd's call is inclusive, authoritative, and life-giving, offering abundant life to all who follow Him.
